Back in 1975, several members of Hillcrest Chapel had a growing desire to provide a quality childcare program for the families of Bellingham. Daycare was just emerging as a popular choice for early childhood education. Hillcrest Chapel wanted to give parents a safe, warm, loving environment for each child. They also wanted to provide a Christian school for all families regardless of their religious affiliation or background. Soon Hillcrest Daycare was established - a licensed child care center serving our community.
As the community continued to grow, Hillcrest Daycare grew with it. By the year 2000 we had increased our enrollment from just a few kids to over 150! Now Hillcrest Kids continues to serve families throughout Whatcom and Skagit counties. We've even added this website to continue to serve you better.
