Peanut Patch: 1 – 2 Years
Welcome to the Peanut Patch! Our Peanut Patch is designed with the special needs of your 12 month to 20 month old child in mind. The room is located in its own secluded area with bright and cheerful windows to help create a happy atmosphere. While in the Peanut Patch your child will explore the world of song, art and play through music, board books and toys. Opportunity will also be given to tumble and bounce in our famous Running Room.
Your one year old is rapidly developing in all areas of growth. Speech, social skills, independence, large muscle tone and personal preferences are just a few areas that begin to blossom this first year. Our staff look for ways to enhance this development during teachable moments from diaper changing time to story time.
Our Teachers are warm, loving, gentle, flexible and very dedicated to giving your child the best in early learning. Teachers in the Peanut Patch understand it can be difficult for mommy or daddy to leave their little one for the first time. We want your family to feel cared for and we want to listen to your concerns. Good communication is important, so a daily report sheet is available to let you know how your little one’s day went. Our goal is to give you a worry free day by providing a safe and secure learning environment of love and attention for your child.
