School-Age Program
Hillcrest Kids offers two different programs for your school age child (K-5th grade), from after school activities to summer and school break fun.
Our After School program provides transportation from Lowell and Happy Valley elementary schools. We provide space for elementary students to finish up their afternoon with a nutritious snack, re-connecting with old friends, and building new friendships.
Smooth Sailors runs during school breaks and all through the summer. Fantastic field trips include: roller skating, bike riding, berry picking, playing at Boulevard Park and roaming the wilds of Washington State Parks. We also plan a variety of on–campus activities such as water wars, crafts, woodworking, and music. Your child will enjoy the close friendships they will build with our loving staff and the rest of the Smooth Sailors.
The children are literally “climbing the wall” on Hillcrest Kid’s indoor traverse wall. This new type of physical experience for our kindergarteners and school age children strengthens their upper arm muscles as well as their leg muscles. The children love the ‘rock wall’!
