Hillcrest Kids Early Learning provides early childhood education and after school care to the children of the greater Bellingham area. It is our purpose to foster growth and development of the whole child – physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual – in an atmosphere of God’s great love.
Our Story
Back in 1975, several members of Hillcrest Church had a growing desire to provide a quality childcare program for the families of Bellingham. Daycare was just emerging as a popular choice for early childhood education. Hillcrest Church wanted to give parents a safe, warm, loving environment for each child. Soon Hillcrest Daycare was established – a licensed childcare center serving our community.
As the community continued to grow, Hillcrest Daycare grew with it. By the year 2000 we had increased our enrollment from just a few kids to over 150! Now Hillcrest Kids Early Learning continues to serve families throughout Whatcom and Skagit counties. What new adventures await us this year? Join us and find out!
